About MakeDecks

What MakeDecks is

MakeDecks is a free AI presentation maker. You drop in the material you already have, such as meeting notes, a PDF report, a Word document, an Excel or CSV file, an old PowerPoint, a web page, a Google Doc or a YouTube video, and it builds a designed deck from it. You edit the slides in the browser, ask AI to change any part of a slide, present, share a view link, and download a fully editable PowerPoint file or a PDF.

Why it exists

Most AI deck tools put the useful part, a file you can actually edit and send, behind a paywall or a watermark. MakeDecks keeps that part free: the free plan makes 30 decks a month, with editable PowerPoint and PDF downloads and no watermark. Pro, at $15 a month or $144 a year, adds unlimited decks, a brand kit, team editing, translation and more for people who make decks every day.

Who builds it

MakeDecks was founded in October 2026 by Yash Garg, a full stack engineer who is also Lead Engineer at Clinsight AI. Yash builds and runs MakeDecks, and feedback and support email go straight to Yash.

How your data is handled

Files you upload are used only to make your deck. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and subtitle files are read in your browser, and PDFs, images and audio are deleted from the AI provider once your deck is made. The privacy page lists exactly what is stored and for how long.
